About This Course
Engine failure at sea is one of the most common causes of coastguard call-outs, and the majority of cases are preventable. The RYA Diesel Engine Course gives you the knowledge and confidence to carry out routine maintenance, identify problems early, and deal with common faults before they leave you stranded.
The one-day classroom session is practical and hands-on, working with a real engine to understand how systems connect and where things go wrong. You will leave with a clear maintenance routine and the confidence to deal with the most common at-sea engine problems.
