About This Course
The RYA Powerboat Level 2 is the benchmark certificate for anyone operating an open powered craft, RIB, or sports boat. Completed over two days on the water, you will develop confident boat handling skills in a range of conditions and situations.
This is the right course if you are new to powerboating, want a recognised certificate for club or hire purposes, or need to qualify for more advanced RYA training. Our instructors keep groups small so you spend as much time at the helm as possible.

Before You Arrive

Free parking is available by the gate house; if full, paid underground parking is signposted nearby.
Course days start at 09:30 and finish around 17:00.
Bring a passport-sized photograph, passport/ID, sun protection, sunglasses, hat, non-marking footwear, packed lunch and water bottle.
Wet weather gear is not supplied.
No Prerequisites Required
This course is suitable for complete beginners. No prior powerboat experience is needed.
